Village law firm full time Help Desk Analyst / Desktop Support position.
Monday – Friday 2PM-10PM
Salary - $35,000 - $40,000
The Help Desk Analyst / Desktop Support performs a variety of technical and customer service duties in providing users with solving or coordinating problem resolution. He/she serves as key contact for on-site and remote users for hardware and software problems and inquiries as well as installations of new equipment.
Excellent customer service skills or any equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers and users.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft XP Professional, Office Professional 2003, Office 2007 a plus. Basic Windows 2003 administrative functions, such as, creating user accounts, and networking (TCP/IP) protocols. Strong troubleshooting skills in a windows environment.
Duties:
- Provide tech support to end users
- Perform software installs and updates
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Set up PCs, printers, peripherals and networking equipment
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, training and tech support at the desktop level
- Assist senior technicians with network deployment projects
Requirements:
- Solid PC troubleshooting skills
- Strong skills in use of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook
- Solid skills in other common business applications
- Understanding of network configuration at the desktop level
- Good communication skills for end-user training and tutorial
- Solid PC hardware, software and Windows operating system knowledge
- Must be able to lift/move pc`s, monitors, printers and other related equipment
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications a plus
Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000
